"What is the North Wing Expansion Project?"
We are adding to our Ministry Center a 3,066 square foot Wing which will attach to the north side of our current structure, taking up most of the north lawn and flower beds.
"What will it include?"
The North Wing will include:
-4 large children's classrooms
-children's lobby
-bathroom
-office/copy room
-kitchenette and pantry
"How much will it cost?"
The current estimate for construction, fees and furnishings is $800K.
"When do we plan to start construction?"
Right now we are going through the approval process with Fresno County, which should take most of the summer. We hope to break ground in the fall and finish sometime early 2024.
"Who is our General Contractor?"
We will be using the same General Contractor that built our Ministry Center: Katch Environmental Incorporated. Our architect will be SJA Design Services.
"What will happen with the South Wing?"
We plan on converting the classrooms into offices, and run a Sunday Morning Preteen program out of the lobby.
"How will we pay for it?"
Since giving has been very strong these past years, we hope to draw from our BUILDING FUND without incurring any more debt. However, we will need extra gifts to pay for the project and meet our goals.
